Wilbys Fine Art Department is headed by Pierre Maciag who has a long-standing background in the antiques trade having been based at Phillips in Leeds prior to moving to Barnsley in the early 1990's

Our experienced valuer is able to advise on the value of most fine art items, including furniture, ceramics, silverware, coins, paintings etc. Where clients are considering possible disposals of either single items or house clearances, we can provide an initial verbal indication of value, free of charge.

Valuations can also be carried out for probate, taxation and insurance purposes, with written reports being provided on a pre-agreed fee basis.

Wilbys hold regular auction sales of items of fine art and antiques and are pleased to offer clients general advice on items and procedures prior to the sale.

Furniture Sales 2010 to be held at Milton Hall, Fitzwilliam Street, Elsecar S74 8EZ.
Sales commence at 10 am with viewing from 8.30 am on sale day and 3.30 pm - 7.30 pm on Wednesday prior. Parking is available in the Elsecar Heritage Centre Car Park.
